Material and make

The body is Italian Dollaro-grain cowhide — a fine pebbled emboss that shrugs off daily scratches, right for an object that swings from a bag every day. The hardware is gold-tone throughout.

Inside this small footprint, a cover, four snaps, and a card chamber stack in layers. One case takes more handwork and more time than a wallet. The steps are too fine for mass production; a leather artisan with ten years at the bench makes each one in small batches. Below, those hands at work.
